Das Afghan Women StartUp Program
Die bisher von vielen verschiedenen Organisationen durchgeführten Aktivitäten im Bereich der Gleichberechtigung waren auf singuläre, Informationen vermittelnde Seminare und Konferenzen beschränkt, welche zudem den afghanischen Kontext völlig vernachlässigt haben. Daraus entstand keinerlei Wirkung.
Der Deutsch-Afghanische Frauenverein GAWA setzt auf eine dauerhafte und sich selbst verstärkende Entwicklung. Dazu wird in Afghanistan durch die GAWA eine zweckbestimmte Schule in Kabul gegründet, welche afghanische Frauen ausbildet, bildet und aus ihnen Unternehmerinnen macht.
Die in der ersten Modellschule gesammelten Erfahrungen fließen in Weiterentwicklung des Schulungsprogramms, das dann in weiteren zu gründende Schulen in den verschiedenen Regionen Afghanistans gelehrt wird. Wesentlich sind dabei das Wissen und die Erfahrungen aus Unternehmensgründungen und StartUp-Programmen in Europa eines unserer Gründungsmitglieder. Diese werden durch Anpassung an die spezifischen Fragestellungen in Afghanistan optimiert.

The Afghan Women StartUp Program
Until today, various organizations conducted activities in the area of Gender Equality, based on singular and information providing seminars and conferences, not respecting contextualization in Afghanistan. As a result, these activities had no impact whatsoever.
The German Afghan Women Association GAWA counts on sustainable and self-strengthening developments. For achieving this, the GAWA founds a dedicated school in Kabul to educated and train Afghan women to become entrepreneurs.
All experiences gathered in this prototype school will foster the development of the educational and training program taught in further schools to be founded in the various regions in Afghanistan. Most important are the knowledge and experiences in the founding of enterprises and StartUps in Europe by one of our co-founder. All this will be optimized to reflect the specific demands in Afghanistan.
